COSI - Center of Science and Industry

COSI is an exciting discovery place for children to interact and learn about our environment, heritage, people, animals, science, history, health and industry. COSI provides informative exhibits, experiences and educational activities for all ages.

Beginning March 27th COSI will have a Titanic exhibit. This life size replica will consist of recreation of rooms on the ship, treasures and costumed characters that children can interact with.

COSI also have 3D shows about dolphins, whales, chimpanzees and other lives shows. You can go to www.cosi.org for a schedule of live shows and many other exciting events.

On March 26th COSI will be open from 5PM-9PM for the Family Friday Night event.

Columbus "Earth Day"

This year the event will be at Franklin Park. The Earth Day event is organized by Green Columbus and they are calling the event "The Update". Their mission is to create a safer environment by fighting for cleaner air and water. Their goal is to get 10,000 volunteers to help clean up Columbus during this event. The volunteering phase is conducted on Saturday, April 17th and Sunday April 18th. If you would like to volunteer, go to www.update.org to register and select the area you would like to work at. Volunteering earns you free admission to the Earth Day celebration.

Columbus "Earth Day" Celebration

The Earth Day celebration will be on Thursday April 22nd from 3 PM- 10 PM. Events at the celebration includes, "Up cycled Fashion Show", video contest, photo contest, local bands and activities for children.

Baby Bonanza & Kid's Expo

This is a popular event for families to attend to participate in contests with their children to win prizes. The Baby Bonanza & Kid's Expo has several education seminars for parents and 100 exhibitors. They will also have interactive play areas, events and contests for fathers, fashion shows, "The Diaper Derby" baby races and door prizes.

Fort Rapids Indoor Water Park Resort

Fort Rapids is a huge indoor pool and water park that the kids are guaranteed to enjoy.
