Things that Start with the Letter "N"

Full review

While sitting at my desk and trying to come up with topics, that I could write about, that have a "N" word, I find several that come to the forefront of my mind. One is my passion for animals. I truly love all animals.
Especially little dogs, and little kittens, and house pets of all kinds.
I also have a heavy heart though for all the unwanted and abused animals.
So I am going to call this portion, "Neglected".
Animals that are neglected and unwanted are not just the animal polices responsibility.
Neglect to an animal usually means, that a human has left it stranded somewhere, not caring whether it lives or maybe even hoping it dies.
Neglect also could mean, letting an animal live in poor conditions, filthy conditions, or extreme conditions.
This is really cruel, and it is "un-human" in my opinion.
What person could be so mean? Have any of you saw those heartbreaking commercials from ASAP?
They play this really sad song, and while the song is playing, it shows pictures of animals, usually dogs, and cats.
They are all sad looking, and some are missing limbs, eyes, or enough skin, in other words, literally starving.
This is a good group, they are trying to get awareness, and tug at your heart strings. I cannot look at these commercials without coming to tears.
To believe that someone could neglect these animals, whose only job and will in life is to please us, is wrong.
This I believe is a cruel neglect.

Having started off writing about animals, I am moved to also write about the topic, "Nothing".
Nothing is usually what is left, when someone feels hopeless. Or when someone is alone, there can be nothing in ones life left.
When someone gets to the point that there is nothing and that is all, they can become depressed, or start thinking of ways to alleviate that awareness.
Suicide, and raged killing sprees, come to mind, here.
If you ever think to yourself there is nothing for you, then it is time to look at all your blessings. There is always something, always.
Maybe it is as insignificant as a few dollars in your pocket.
Maybe it is the fact that you have a family, somewhere, that loves you.
I believe that there is never a time that someone will have nothing.
It is commonly used though, when someone is feeling helpless.
But in actuality it is a wrong assessment.
Hopefully you will never feel this way, but if you do, stop and look around, think a little harder, and then draw a conclusion.
Maybe your conclusion will be that you do have more than nothing.Since I am all doom and gloom it seems, I will turn towards a more cheery note. This topic will be about "nature, notes, and newness".
Being that I am a nature lover, I will start here.
I do love the sounds that the birds make, each and every day.
It is their way of communicating, but to me, it says so much more.
It is a melodious arrangement, of beauty and life, period.
Think about it, would it not be sad if we never heard birds, or we never saw them in their formation flying high in the sky?
I think it would.
Nature also brings us lovely flowers, warm and cold seasons.
Nature is a part of our existence, and I do not think we could exist without it. Think about that.
Notes(musical) on a piece of music composition, notes on a page, these enable some of the greatest composers to perform. It also enables ordinary people, like me and you to play our favorite tunes.
Having notes to a song or a verse makes music for all to share. Think about it.

Newness, is a wonderful description of something that sees things first hand, is firsthand in its entirety.
When you go to a new job, it is the newness that makes you excited.
When giving birth, the newness is what makes you cry and makes it special.
For me when I first get a new pet, the newness is so special. You make all these commitments, towards that pet, you are excited about what your new pet will be for you.
Going away to college gives newness to all first time students.
That is also what makes parents cringe, and worry as well. Newness, it is a good thing.
Sometimes it is what we need, as far as in relationships, jobs, or any endeavor. This was just thoughts, that I thought I would share. I think "N" topics, have possibilities, don't you?

This is a very sad topic.. because so many animals are neglected. We have a little girl Bull Terrier.. she wasn't just dropped off in front of my house.. she was thrown out of a moving car. It slowed up .. the person in the car opened the door tossed the dog out and closed the door while the driver sped off down the road. I was walking my chihuahua about 4 in the morning when this happened. We took the little girl dog in and named her Cammy. She has grown so much. I love her.. she will never be neglected now.
