1. Computer or Laptop
These are so affordable now days & now most people are able to afford both & Computer & Laptop. There are many brands such as Dell, HP, Compact, or Toshiba. The possibilities are endless. I would highly recommend asking a local computer store what they would recommend as for a system. Most systems come with things such as Microsoft Office, TV Cards, or Printers. In the end you can save a lot of money finding a great deal out there. Also do your research on the Internet a great place to buy reasonable Computer equipment is NewEgg.com or TigerDirect.com they have some of the best deals out there.
2. Internet
Most homes already have Internet access this can also be used in your Home Office! You can easily log onto your Wireless Internet or setup a Wireless Router to access Internet from anywhere in your house. You might just have to contact your local provider & ask them what options are available to you.

Even if this involves you playing video games on your computer. I would highly recommend not letting your kids do this on your office computer. Kids are one of the biggest reasons for computer viruses in my own opinion.
