One of these is the Nunchuck, there needs to be a wireless nunchuck standard, I have whipped myself several times playing some games enthusiastically with the wire that connects the nunchuck to the WiiMote. You can purchase a wireless nunchuck and I own one, but it sometimes disconnects and doesn't "feel" as good as the standard one that comes with the Wii.
Allow for DVD movies to play, often I only have the Wii hooked up to my kids machines and constantly have to unplug it to plug in my kids DVD player, it would be nice if the same Wii could just play DVD's for my kids to watch so I don't have to mess with Switches or multiple devices plugged in for my kids room.
Improve the read laser or lens on the device, I have had my Wii sent for support and service two times in the past fifteen months, and the second time I had to pay to have it repaired. Over time the Wii just stopped reading discs, like the read lens was out of alignment or got dirty and there is no real way to clean it yourself.
Develop a wall mounted accessory rack, I really have so many accessories I have no way to really keep track of them. Nintendo should make a wall mounted product that can store your Wii Motes, Nunchucks, and many other accessories you purchase for the product.
These are all relatively small improvements, but they would go a long way to making the already pleasant console even more convenient and easier to enjoy.
Now for a future version of the product Nintendo lost out on many good developers and games by being graphically under powered in comparison to its rival game systems. The Wii should at least be on par with other systems graphically in order to capitalize on a better visual experience for the gamers and prevent gamers from having to own multiple game systems to have the full range of games at their disposal.
All in all the Nintendo Wii is a fantastic product and I use it to play with my kids, work out, as well as experiment with new games. It lacks really good Role Playing games at this time, and I hope more and better ones are released in the near future.
