Thinking Out Loud - Van Jones Gone, Who's Next?
"42 Years Ago, I Came to America from Communist Cuba so I Might Have a Better Way of Life. . . I Wanted to Live the American Dream Where If You Worked Hard and Put Your Mind to the Task, Anything was Possible" - Mel Martinez
He then formed STORM, Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement, a socialist collective thaqt regularly held meetings to discuss the theories of Marx and Lenin, and longed for a multiracial socialist utopia.
As recently as 2000, Jones campaigned emphatically against Proposition 21 in California. This proposition called for more severe punishment for the gang related crimes to deal with the increase in murder, rape and other violent gang crimes on the rise (especially in large populace areas such as LA County). (The provision that made it mandatory for 14 year or older defenders be tried as an adult were overturned by the San Diego Court of Appeals in 2001.)
He hates capitalism. "I realized that there are a lot of people who are capitalists -- shudder, shudder --" He hates white people. ". . . white polluters" steering poison into black neighborhoods. He hates the American two party system. "Republicans are ***holes." He clearly hates the representative democracy of America. "By August I was a communist."
The only thing that Obama could possibly have seen in Van Jones to think that the American people would accept him in ANY political position within government is that he (at one time) believed in black liberation theology and he was a polished speaker who could take the ideas of other people and turn them into movement.
But now he is gone. All because of a "smear campaign" by the opponents of the Obama Administration. "On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me. They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide." (from Van Jones' resignation letter)
He claims he had been called upon by people "from across the political spectrum - urging me to "stay and fight."" (again, from Jones' letter)
I really wish he had. Because the longer he stuck around the more his green collar was looking redder and redder. The longer he denied things he said, did and signed in the past, the deeper the pit he dug when the truth of his hatred came into the light.
So now he is gone. Time to continue exposing the truth behind and clearing the area inside the beltway of all those America and American hating thugs. Let's start with Mark Lloyd (the new Diversity Czar at the FCC, or should we say Censorship Czar) and then move all the way to John Holdren, the President's Science and Tech Czar (who wrote in the textbook Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment on the plusses of involuntary abortion and infanticide).

Ah - you quote the wonderful Senator from my state...Mel Martinez. Great article. I love how Jones and the administration aren't blaming his resignation on his own background, but simply on the "fuss" the conservatives are making.
Dear readers, as always (which I forgot to tag onto the bottom), you can agree or disagree. Either way, this is just me, thinking out loud.
