Thirst-Quenching Fourth of July Holiday Drinks

While burgers, hot dogs and barbeque ribs have been associated with the Fourth of July holiday season for decades, there really aren't any specific drinks that go along with one of our nation's biggest and most-celebrated holidays.

However, adults everywhere will enjoy the mix of satisfying Fourth of July holiday drinks that I have compiled for this article.

With the Fourth of Julyholiday season drawing closer by the moment, let's get started.

All-American Mixed Beach Breezer

Ingredients

2 oz Rum

1 Bottle of Pina Colada Mix

1 bottle of Strawberry Daiquiri Mix

½ can crushed pineapples

3 whole strawberries

1 cup of ice

Directions

Blend ingredients together and drink

Fourth of July Birthday Drink

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Blue Curacao

1 1/2 oz Sloe Gin

(Fill to Top) Cream

Directions
Pour the blue curacao into an ice-filled glass, preferably a collins glass and gently layer the heavier liquids, the sloe gin and cream on top of the ice. This will produce and red and blue drink with white mixed in.

Bottle Rocket Blast

Ingredients

3 oz Tanqueray Gin

3 oz Raspberry/Cranberry Juice

1 Lemon Wedge

Directions

Pour Gin over ice, followed by raspberry/cranberry juice and squeeze lemon juices in.

Fourth of July Firecracker

Ingredients

1 oz Voudka

2 oz Dark Rum

1/2 oz Sloe Gin

Orange Juice (Fill to Top)

Directions
Pour ingredients into glass filled with ice.

Absolut Summertime Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Citrus Vodka

1/2 oz Sprite

1 slice Lemon

3 oz Soda Water

3/4 oz Sweet and Sour Mix

Directions
Add all ingredients except lemon to shaker filled with ice. Cover and shake vigorously. Strain contents into ice filled glass. Garnish with lemon.
