But you can use just one and check each plant, one at a time.
The website gives lots of tips on using the Thirsty Light. If you have a lot of dissolved fertilizer, it can make your light read wet. Make sure you put the Thirsty Light in firm soil. It doesn't work in soils with a lot of sand or with a bark mix. Make sure you wipe the probe off to clean mineral deposits off.
The website has a watering guide so you can have the best results with your plants. Use a small spout watering can. Pour water evenly. Don't use softened water. Don't use hot or cold water. Don't allow plants to stand in water for over one hour. You need to wash the dust off the leaves. There is a lot of useful information.
The plants that need to be watered as soon as the Thirsty Light starts blinking are: Wandering Jew, Rubber Tree, Spider Plant, Pothos, and Ficus. The following plants do not need to be watered as often: Prickly Pear Cactus', and Jade Plant. The following plants are not suited for the Thirsty Light: Impatiens and Bamboo Palm.
The Thirsty Light does sound like a great invention. I may buy one just to see how it works. If it'll help keep me from killing one plant, the price is worth it. Be sure to check out their website and see what you think.

Fantastic idea! My husband tends to over water our plants so we end up not having them very long. This might help to solve that problem. Thanks. :-)
I never heard of it.
