Follow these easy steps and you will see a difference in less than a week. I lost over 12 pounds in one month by adding exercise in my daily routine. I know that the words "daily exercise" could scare you off but keep reading and see the easy steps I took to add exercise in my life. Do not think of this as exercise, and the thirty-minutes is spread through out the day so never do you fill like you have to come up with thirty-minutes of few time.
Some simple ideas to start with:
-While brushing your teeth in the morning do squats. Typical time for teeth brushing should be 3 minutes. You can get at least 5 sets of 10 squats simply
while brushing your teeth.
-Steps are great. (we've all done it, sent the kids up the stairs to get a particular item) go for it!!! Going the steps can really burn up the calories so go for the
steps. Always use the steps instead of the elevator.
-While cooking supper don't for get to do the leg lifts. Do side kicks while stirring your stove top items.
-Folding clothes is a great way to get the arms in shape. Lift towels above head and bring them down to fold in half. The up and down motion will get the
arm muscles in shape. "Get rid of the wing look!"
-Always park away from the stores, work place, and etc. The extra steps in and out can give you added minutes of exercise each day.
-Make a game out of it and get the kids involved. During the commercials get up and do jumping jacks. See how many each of your family members can do
before the commercials ends. Try to beat your records each time the commercials comes on. This is a fun way to add exercise to all the family.
As you can see, keep moving and have fun. By doubling up on chores and exercise you will add thirty minutes or more of exercise to your life a day. Before you know it your extra pounds will be dropping of.
