But the more than slightly inquisitive has to question what the hell is truly going on. The theatre production being preformed by the Transportation & Security Administration [T.S.A], at the direction of the Homeland Security Department [H.S.D] and the Executive Brand, headed by Mr. Obama, directed by seemingly anyone but the American people, is a most public display of the final stripping of America's dignity and profession of any true love and cherishment of freedom. There is absolutely no justification for the overt, evasive personal assault on the law-biding citizens of America who's only crime appears to be the desire to fly on a airplane. There has not been any reported plot foiled by the T.S.A. There has not been any report of a terrorist being stopped attempting to go through a security screening point. All of the foiled terror plots since September 2001 have been stopped by outstanding and courageous actions of law enforcement agencies, outside of the airport checkpoint lines, and private citizens. PERIOD!! So that being the case, what is really going on? And why?
A terrorist walking through a known security checkpoint in a airport doesn't even happen in the movies. But yet, this what the U.S government want us to believe. Every since the enactment of the PATRIOT Acts we are to believe that terrorist follow the same paths and rules as the general law abiding citizen to excuse stripping the whole society of its most cherished freedoms and liberties. But, by sheer definition a terrorist or out law operates outside of the bounds of law. A very, very good argument can be made that it has been the government of the United States who has been the true terrorist of the people of America, particularly since September 11th.
But, the most troubling actor in the dramatic production is the people ourselves who plays the enablers of the government's atrocities. Benjamin Franklin prophetically stated, "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." The actions of the government can not be simply excused away by invoking images of 9/11. Israeli airports don't employ such personal deprivation or humiliation techniques. They have been literally under a state of war since the State was created after WW II. But, they don't have to deal with asinine political correctness that disallows "profiling" or with a corrupt political system in which too many members seek to financially enrich themselves at the expense of the people who they have sworn to serve. Are the American people under a state of war? If so, who's the enemy? Is it Al-Qaeda? Is it Muslims? Is it communism? Or is it the government of the United States? I am not talking about being anti-government. I am talking about being anti-bad government. Ben Franklin said that a citizen's first responsibility is to question authority. Respectfully of course.
According to recent polls, not too many American are alarmed at what is occurring at the nation's airports by the agents of the government. But, those same people who are silent on the abuses of the government would be screaming bloody murder if they were shorted a chicken wing in a order of dozen, if their cable service was increased overnight 10 percent, or if Acme Security Service was behaving in the same grotesque manner to allow you to enter the most popular shopping mall. Think that I'm wrong? The next time that you see a news video or picture of a T.S.A agent feeling up a 4 year old little girl as she screams and cries at the top of hear lungs from him to stop ... visualize that the agent is not wearing a uniform, but is a long-haired and hairy Caucasian male, grossly over weight, in jeans and a nasty t-shirt. How do you like it now?
But, this over-reaching police powers of the government isn't just happening at the airports. Our children are being raise in an environment of fear and a police state. Too many of us have been conditioned to surrender our freedom and liberties that has survived us and been the beacon for the world to find our shores for some 200 years for the promise of security by the government. We have been conditioned to believe that it is not ourselves who can provide for our basic needs, but that it is the government. We have been conditioned to view America as a democracy, where it is the rights and wishes of the majority/mob that are superior to that of the individual, and not rightfully as a republic, where is it the rights of the individual that are superior to that of the majority/mob. Too many of us have been conditioned to not recognize our enemy as the Communist, not the foreign interlopers, vagrants, or intruders, and certainly not the government, but ourselves.
People in countries such as Hungary, Poland, China, and Germany are viewing the one nation that once stood for the highest aspirations of personal freedom and liberties to now witness the very thing that many of them and or their more recent forefathers have died and fought to achieve. They now are witnessing Americans being stripped of there basic freedoms and liberties not directly by any foreign power from afar, or invading power, but by the people of the U.S government that swore to defend Americans from any such thing from happening. Where do they turn to now? Where do our children dream to be free to achieve their aspirations of freedom? The choice is inevitably each of ours.
The burden of freedom and liberty is not easy. If it was more countries would be truly like us and this would not be an issue. It demands the highest degree of self-responsibility and self-governance. We need to be reintroduced to the principles of the Constitution and another tenant of Mr. Franklin, "Freedom is not a gift bestowed upon us by other men, but a right that belongs to us by the laws of God and nature." We still do have a republic, how much longer can we keep it?

Your description of child molestation was grossly exaggerated. I agree that another method of searching children must be found. The Israeli method of airport security is to talk to and question each passenger. If we tried that in the U.S. you would be waiting hours in line to be questioned by authorities. The quote of Benjamin Franklin is beautiful but both political parties do not live up to Franklin's statement. The Patriot Act is an example of that. You mention Communism which is another gross exaggeration. My point about Communism relates to conservatives wanting to put God in the US Constitution. Can you think of anything more Communist in nature than religion?

Our rights are being taken one by one and we're letting it happen. My family was in Europe in WWII, and have said this is how it started. We are handing our rights over one by one and WE are in control of stopping it. Articles like this are needed to get us into gear. Thanks for writing it. Hopefully people will stop being cattle and follow the one in front to our death as a nation!
