This is the day The Lord hath made
How we use it is up to us to decide
Do we get up with a purpose for this day
Or just go along for the ride
If you can get started with a purpose in mind
the day will be well spent
You will be surprised at how much you've accomplished
and also how fast the day went
If you're just going along for the ride
you'll be just as tired come nightfall
You may even reflect .(maybe with some
regret),"Did I accomplish anything at all?"
Time is much too precious to waste.
We have only twentyfour hours in each day
Once one is passed there is no retrieving it
no matter what we do or say.
The past is behind us let us
look to the future but most of all
Let us make the best of today
