This Fall Visit Dinge's Family Farm in Harbor Country, Michigan

On a recent trip to Harbor Country, Michigan, just over an hour from downtown Chicago, we discovered Dinge's Fall Harvest family farm. This delightful homestead has been family owned since 1973. Visitors are immediately welcomed by an immense variety of pumpkins, gourds, mums and squash. You can also choose from fresh produce, concord grapes, apple cider and taffy apples.

Dinge's family farm, located in Three Oaks, Michigan features a craft barn teeming with fall décor like swags, bird houses, sunflower heads, wreaths, candles, centerpieces and more. Local talented artisans, from in and around Berrien County, sell delicately hand painted gourds rich in color and detail. I even purchased a one of a kind Santa Claus gourd that now sits upon my mantle each and every holiday season. And not a year goes by that someone doesn't compliment me on my splendid gourd! Exquisite hand crafted bowls, plates and vases are also for sale while painted pumpkins of all shapes and sizes wear whimsical expressions and are perfect for displaying on your front porch this fall season.

Bring the kids along for tractor and pony rides, climb aboard a train, and visit a haunted house, a barn and a corn teepee. The whole family will enjoy a Belgium horse drawn hay ride all around Dinge's enchanting farmland. And be sure to explore the giant dinosaur statues that now make their home in the Jurassic Maze. Dinge's also boasts a spooky semi filled with ghoulish displays and the "Feather and Friends Barnyard" happily occupied by birds, bunnies, ducks and more.
