This Man from It-taly

John Smither
Today whilst working, a new customer
He was one I had never served before
Turned out he was a bit of a hustler
He asked, 'have you ever beena It-taly afore?

He was trying to sell something to me
Just what bargain he had for sale
I would not get to see
I declined to look, not fall for his con, I would not bale

He was desperate for me to buy
Even saying I could have one for free
I do not want one, I cry
I will not come look, I will not come see

The moral of this story
You get nothing for free
Even if he relates to you, his history
This man from It-taly.
