Parents Build Solid Foundations Which Will Not Crumble and Fall

How would you define what the meaning of a human being is? My description might differ from many of you who read this article but this is what I believe a human being is. Human life is definitely not a bowl of cherries, we have many obstacles, heartaches, trials and tribulations, and many other things we face in our lives. We each know we have a mission to accomplish and we either make it a good choice or a bad choice. We have been raised with certain ways of life through our parents teachings, and if they were dysfunctional and bad, we'll more than liking choose the bad side of a human beings life to live. It's sad when young children do not have a choice in life because their parents make bad choices.

Our parents are the ones who set the foundation of our humanly life while we're here on this earth, and in most cases, all of these factors will have an affect on our lives. When we see people who are "real and good" human beings, most of the time it goes back to the person's upbringing. A good foundation, in most instances, breeds a good and solid human being unto a child's adulthood.

My descriptive meaning of a human being is someone who is aware that life does bring us struggles and strains but we endure and make life the best we can for ourselves, our family, and our neighbors and friends. We live our lives to be of good morals and values; we are honest and decent people; we care and give; we have compassion for others; we try to perform our attempts to reach our goals with excellence or a feeling of knowing we did our best; we're a caring, loving parent who knows how to teach our children good morals and values; we live by the laws of our land; we worship as we have chosen our lives, we never take freedom for granted but we strive to keep freedom ringing throughout our land; and, we need to look out for children who have had a terrible and dysfunctional upbringing and reach out to them and to bring them under our wings for guidance and proper teaching.

What we are in life and how we live it belongs to each of us, and regardless of how we were raised, we need to realize what type of a dysfunctional family life we lived and turn to counselors to guide us onto a pathway of being the human being we want to be instead of what our parents taught us. If you're one of these children, you hold the key and you have the power in your life and its not too late to turn your lifestyle around to make it a good life yourself.
