Thought for the day:
When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.
Trivia:
1. The US has the most internet users at 154 million. What country comes in second with 39 million?
2. What five-letter word can refer to a certain kind of athlete, to a certain California politician, and to a Chinese revolutionary?
3. Which pair of entertainers worked together to star in over 60 short films and 27 full-length films between 1926 and 1951?
4. France borders five countries. Two of them are Germany and Switzerland - name the other three?
5. You buy a car, and wish to pay the car seller $12,000, divided into 24 payments, so that each payment is $20 more than the previous payment. How much will you pay in the first payment?
And the Survey Says:
I like to ask people their thoughts on various subjects. I asked several AC writers the following question:
Question: Do you ever get frustrated with the writing process? What do you do to overcome it?
Wayne Thomas: As for frustration, my experience writing and picking topics people will be searching for is difficult at this point. I try to follow other's work and learn from there. You are a good subject for study. Thanks for asking.
Elizabeth Valentine: I'm always getting frustrated with the writing process! Whether it's because things are taking too long, or I'm just not in the mood to write, I certainly get flustered at times. The moments always pass, though, so I just take a break in the meantime and busy myself with other work until I feel like I can at least put a sentence together. I don't force myself to write when I don't want to, and the results are much better that way.
Jennifer Bove: Sometimes, if I'm frustrated because of grammar, I try to get some input. If I'm frustrated because my words aren't flowing as I'd like them to I take a break. If its because I can't think of a topic, I start looking at everything around me as a story and it comes to me eventually.
Secretsides: Yes I do get frustrated with the writing process for many reasons. What I do is read others articles more. I check out newer writers and read magazines that have ideas in them for new topics. I think sometimes it is only natural to get a little burnt out but it doesn't take long to get fired up on some issue to get me to start writing again.
Julie Darleen: Sure, I get frustrated with writing and the writing process. Typically, the frustrations stem from not being able to get the ideas down fast enough or not knowing what to write or procrastination.
What do you do to overcome it? If I'm procrastinating then I just have to sit down and write. One trick I use is to tell myself that I'll write for 15 minutes. This gets me started and I usually keep going until I am done.
If other things are the cause of frustration, one of my favorite things to do is clean. What I find is that sometimes the clutter becomes overwhelming and once I get it out of my sight, I can write.(Sometimes, I just move the piles.) However, the one thing that helps me the most with my writing and/or writing frustrations is praying.
Abby Greenhill: It just so happened that the day I sent the question out I was extremely frustrated with writing. I had drawn a blank. I started two or three articles and after 500 words each I tossed them into the black hole of cyberspace. I could not write a thing, except to answer my own question. How did I overcome it, I haven't yet but tomorrow is another day. I did a Haiku just to make sure I still knew how to hit the 'publish' button!
Thank you all for participating! Check back next week to find out what question I asked and who responded! If you would like to answer the next question send me a PM!

Great,thanks Abby Greenhill
Always fun.
I got Laurel Hardy and the number, but was confused by the France question. Like commentor Kofi, I have this strange notion that France shared a border with Spain.
Thanks for the trivia
What fun! Definitely subscribing! ;)
Too much thinking............Now my head hurts !
France also borders Spain and Andorra...
