This is Our Dream

There are no private thoughts. Our mind is split. We are one Self, dreaming "he" is many. This dream was over and done in the same instant it seemed to occur. The moment when I finish writing this entry, and this moment now, are the same. The first day of the world, and the last, are the same.

Mind is one, but it is split between what we call "God" and what we call "The World". All of this means that we remain as created. And that means that nothing real can ever be harmed ("Nothing real can be threatened"-A Course In Miracles.) The only real thing in the world is love, and loving thoughts. Everything else is simple images made up by us, as scattered isolated bodies that "think" they are real selves. The thoughts that we "think" we think are not our real thoughts, but as far as the dream is concerned, they are real enough. So in our terms, they have power, because mind creates constantly. But these thoughts, our ego-thoughts, have no effect on our true state of being.
It is the same principle as when we have a nightmare. Intellectually, we know the nightmare is not real, yet it still affects us. We might awake in a cold sweat, breathing hard, but still we know it wasn't "real". From A Course In Miracles:

"Have faith in only this one thing, and it will be sufficient: God wills [that] you be in Heaven, and nothing can keep you from it, or it from you. Your wildest misperceptions, your weird imaginings, your blackest nightmares all mean nothing. They will not prevail against the peace God wills for you. The Holy Spirit will restore your sanity because insanity is not the Will of God. If that suffices Him, it is enough for you. You will not keep what God would have removed, because it breaks communication with you with whom He would communicate. His Voice will be heard."

If God wills that He would communicate with us, then our communication link cannot be broken. We can only dream it so. We have in effect, turned away from God, and this is what caused our mind to be split. This is why we think we are separated selves, stuck in bodies, isolated. We are unlimited, but dream of limit; free, but dream of being imprisoned; safe at Home, but dream of being far away, lost, in a strange land.

The world, this earth and its attendant stars, is a replay of a mad instant of fear that entered the mind of God's beloved Son. It can be likened to a video loop that someone forgot to shut off. The truth of us was not born, and can never die. Birth and death are unreal. God would not have this insanity for His Son. God knows nothing of insanity. God only knows God. God is Love, and Love only. There is no opposite to God.

That is why there are no private thoughts. There is no "outside", so no thought or idea ever leaves its source. What could be more intimate? Everything is right "here". God (also known as All That Is) is right with us always; the Christ (our Self) is right with us, and the Holy Spirit...with us always. Never turning away, or sleeping, or distracted. This is our true state of being. God wills us Home because God knows we are Home. We create wonders, we exist in perfect calm, we live fully in this eternal moment, this perfect instant that is as unlimited as God, and His Son...us.
