This Slimming Tea Doesn't Work

Oyen
I've been using BioFit Tea for a few months - not consistently since it makes me crap like all hell breaks loose. I started using it as a slimming tea, something that would decrease the calorie absorption in my diet, at least that was my theory.

Last night my older brother told me if I already looked up on the internet the main component of BioFit tea. I was taken aback because I almost always reasearch on something before actually advocating it or using it, but this time I didn't.

So here's the summary of all the things I found out in the past half hour:

BioFit Tea's main component: Senna Herb (it's written at the back of every packet).

Senna Herb is used as a laxative since forever. However, it's not a recommended cure for constipation - high fiber diet is a much better alternative. Even though it is not recommended, it is highly effective because it irritates the bacteria in your digestive tract to increase your bowel movement. Because of this effect, it should NOT be used by people who have hemorrhoids, colitis, and any other problem in your digestion even though you don't know the source. It's also contra-indicated in pregnancy because the toxins may travel through your breast milk.

Aside from this warnings, some research say that it increases tumor growth and increases risk of colon cancer. From this information, it seems like I've never really benefited from BioFit Tea, instead, I've been putting my health to more risk.
