This Tomato Loves Me!

Summertime is great for fresh tomatoes. They can be used for so much. Canned tomatoes, fried green tomatoes, tomato gravy (great over biscuits for breakfast), tomato sandwich (fresh bread, mayo, salt and pepper), Bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich and the list goes on and on. I just love tomatoes!! Big ones, small ones (cherry size), oddly shaped, perfectly shaped, as long as they are home grown. Umm the smell of fresh tomato and garlic simmering for spaghetti sauce is the smell of summertime and fresh tomatoes.
This morning, crazy as it may seem, I had a tomato sandwich and was thinking. What kind of crazy person eats a tomato sandwich for breakfast? Sitting at the table looking at the box lid full of tomatoes when I see--this tomato loves me too!!
