Odd News that Is!

John Smither
A man was arrested in Nigeria

Nothing newsworthy or odd there I hear

He had over 100 bags of marijuana

Hidden, but not that well I fear

Was it medicinal maybe?

For he was 103

(He was actually 114, but couldn't get it to rhyme)

The budget airline that recently announced its intention

To introduce a charge on its passengers paying to take a pee

They would have to pay a £1, to spend a penny

This will not now happen, too many said I will not pay, you'll see

No pockets of change are now needed

This whole idea was a joke

Reported the CEO, hee, hee.

In South Africa, many are being asked to check

Are you still alive, you're breathing I know

But are you legally alive, I think so by heck

After so many cases of identity theft

Bogus criminals using insurance scams

Not too many 'live' people left

An unusual spot for learning to drive

In the Philippines, at an airport

On the runway, in between when the planes arrive

An employee, I can report

Uses it to teach his girl new skills

These big wide open spaces

She enjoys it, gives her a thrill

As she is put through the paces

What's that plane doing?

It just removed the car's soft top

That could be my undoing

Into a no top

Not exactly sure I can explain the loss

The car you see

It belongs to my boss
