This Year's Must Have Christmas Gifts: Ipods and the Twilight Series

Christmas is next month and some must have gifts for any young adult or adult would be an Ipod or the bestselling series, Twilight. I would absolutely love either one of them or even both! I'm going to explain and describe these gifts and maybe it might just give you an idea or two.

First off, the Ipod. Ipods come in various colors such as gray, blue, pink, green, and red. I would love a pink one. They come in various versions as well. A couple of these versions are Ipod nanos and Ipod touch. The nanos are just a smaller version of the regular Ipod which makes it more compact and easier to carry around. The Ipod I have my eye on is a pink Ipod nano. This Ipod is 8 gigabytes which can hold up to 2000 songs or 8 hours of video or 7000 digital photos. Which would be great to have around to show off pictures to your loved ones or let them hear the latest hit song. The battery it comes up usually will last about 24 hours then you can charge it just like a cell phone. Ipods even have their own carrying cases you can attach to your belt or pants. A great things for exercisers or long road trips. Your songs play automatically once you hit play so it's not continually pushing play. Ipods can also be set on shuffle so the songs don't play in order. Ipod nanos are so compact that you can take them really anywhere. From what I've seen and researched, Ipods generally run about $150.00. It's definitely worth it for someone on the run or someone who just loves music. Ipods would make a great gift for either boy or girl and any age group!

Next on my list is the popular, bestselling Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer. The Twilight series is a great read. It consists of four books which are entitled Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. The Twilight series is about a vampire named Edward and a girl named Bella. Bella is in a new town and runs into Edward on different occasions. Being a vampire, he's attracted to her blood. In these stories, all vampires have a certain scent they are attracted to and Edward's just happens to be Bella. So all along while trying to stay away from her, they fall in love and he has to keep control of her so he doesn't kill her. The second book, New Moon, introduces us to Jacob better. Jacob is in the first book but doesn't play a big role. In New Moon he becomes Bella's best friend after certain things that happen. In the third book, Eclipse, Bella has to choose between Edward and Jacob. Who will she choose? Finally, in Breaking Dawn it tells the end of the story of Bella, Edward, and Jacob. Now, these stories aren't just about romance and love triangles, they also have action and the "bad" vampires, and even the Voultori, the leaders of the vampires. They are intense books for any young adult, boy or girl. Everyone I know loves these books. When I got introduced to them I started reading Twilight and just could not put it down. That's how it was with all the books. Meyer is one of the best writers I've read and I read a lot. She will also be releasing a new book called, Midnight Sun, the book from Edward's perspective. A date has not been set for it yet. I just can not describe into words the love I have for these books. Anyone would enjoy them. On the 21st of November the first Twilight movie will be in theaters everywhere.

These are the gifts that I would love to receive for Christmas. They're so popular you really couldn't go wrong getting anyone one of these two gifts.
