The Site Could Be a Viral Campaign for a Movie with One of the Most Insidious Marketing Campaigns Ever
If you can't conjure the idea of a slightly more benign-looking Freddy Krueger going around haunting people's dreams, then you probably haven't seen any horror movies.
The idea that the above website is a viral attempt at promoting a movie might be true. After all, the website does have advertising on it, which proves no website operates without wanting to make money. Yet the site also claims that they want to help people who've apparently seen the man in their dreams starting back in 2006 and increasing every year. It's becoming a place where people can connect and say, yes, they've seen this guy in their dreams.
So far, it seems the invading man in their dreams has been both benevolent and malevolent. You'll find those who say the man guided them to something positive in a dream, then others who say that he was committing the worst acts any person can do to another human being. Some women claim that they've had erotic dream experiences with the man, despite concurrently recoiling at the man's ugliness.
It's quite telling, though, how split people are on thinking the face looks nefarious and how others say it looks amiable. Every speculation from the thought of it being a human manifestation of God entering our dreams to something spiritually evil has been brought to the table.
At the core here, however, is a stack of theories about the real reasons why this face has been seen so often in dreams and by people who don't live anywhere near each other. When those theories run the gamut from Jungian archetypes to social manipulation, we could be getting a subtle lesson in just how complex and assimilatory our minds are and how we process everything we take in during REM sleep.

Let's try to sideswipe some of those theories. The Jungian archetype theory sounds like an easy answer with the face comprising certain characteristics of the everyperson. Most people would recoil at that theory based on the face having characteristics you can't call average. The proportions of the man's eyebrows alone are abnormal and not conducive to a face that we'd imagine as friendly. Then again, the collective unconscious contains the ugliest and most vile things, with the ultimate mystery still standing as to why they're there.
The scariest theory is the idea that social manipulation is going in with a corporation using a process of mind control. While we've already seen hints of that being a reality in America, could this be a form of social manipulation on the level of say the theory that Orson Welles' 1938 "War of the Worlds" broadcast did the same thing as a sociological test? Is it perhaps a test to see how people would deal with someone looking like this as an eventual leader or other influential person?
Then when you see comments on the site's guestbook that it's likely a viral campaign for a movie or other piece of media, it's not out of the question that all the theories could add up into one of the cleverest marketing campaigns ever invented: An idea or character branded into people's minds through the manipulative marketing process of Memetics.
If that's true, then the site basically gave away how it all works in their list of theories. Although they don't list how an eerie image can get into people's dreams once enough buzz is generated. Call it a cerebral meme where the more you stare at the face and talk about it, the more apt you are to dream about the scary looking man.
This article might be aiding and abetting such an endeavor. Nevertheless, call my writing about it still necessary to weed out manipulation rather than celebrate it. I do, though, give the site the benefit of the doubt at the moment. Should this all be true, then something larger may be happening that might be an evolutionary step in how our brains assimilate things at the most subtle levels.
As for who the man might be modeled on, I've already seen replies on the site's message board giving a name I also thought of the minute I saw the face: Andrew Lloyd Webber.
In the event this face is close to a Freddy Krueger situation, then that means be deathly afraid the next time you listen to the song "Music of the Night"...

One day in the month of May, 2007 I saw in my dream that my son and I was going to Purbapara for taking bath in a pond. Then I saw that many people were taking bath in the pond of Manna. So I also started taking bath. When I was going to come back, I saw a man who requested me, ‘Can you rub the soap on my body’? I agreed. He stood and I began to rub the soap on his neck. It was so soft like a butter. He was a little bit black complexioned with short hair cut. Standing on the platform of the pond I completed rubbing the soap on his body and my dream was off. Later on seeing the photo I recognized that he was this man Jibankrishna.
Bina Roy from Simurali (Nadia district, West Bengal India) narrated one of her realization in trance :
A round shaped cemented platform was seen with a very thick and long bamboo pole fixed vertically in the middle. It was wrapped with a white cloth and a green flag at the top where it was written ‘The Supreme Being (Parama Brahma) Jibankrishna (Diamond) and above it was written ‘Om Peace, Om Peace, Om Peace’.
Innumerable people were coming in a queue, wearing their own national dress, the Muslims with lungi and white cap on head, Hindus with dhoti and Punjabi, Monks with red ochred cloths, Punjabis and turbans on head and Punjabi, pajama. Each was holding a flag where it was written, ‘Parama Brahma Jibankrishna – Om Shanti.’ Then everybody began to utter hymns on oneness with folded hands and my trance
Jugal Chadra Ghorui of Paikpara,Kolkata is a regular listener in the Tala Park reading center where Balai Das reads regularly Diamond’s Bengali book ‘Dharma-O-Anubhuti’ (Religion and Realization). Within a few days he saw Diamond in dreams, which he narrated thus :
One day in the month of November, 2007 I saw in dream a bright blue sky and in it the sun was illuminating bright rays. Inside the sun Jibankrishna was seated in a posture as seen in the photograph. My body became light and like a bird I was flying in the sky. Suddenly from my mid eye-brow a very minute bright red ball came out and merged with Jibankrishna sitting in the sun. My dream went off.
[The dream indicates thus : Diamond in sun proved Upanishads to be true when they also described the man in sun as ‘Brahma’ or Supreme Being. Then it showed that the soul of the seer is the soul of Diamond and such is the case of every human being.]
Vikash saha narrates his experience with this man Jibankrishna(Diamond) in dreams:
On 15.07.2007 I dreamt that Arun Ghosh (Diamond’s companion) was reading Jibankrishna’s book sitting on a big cot inside a room. I was listening it. Another person with spectacles sitting in front of me was also listening.
I heard one sentence very clearly, ‘Your airy form is manifested within everybody.’ Hearing this I shook the body of the person sitting in front of me. He said, ‘Be silent’! Then I saw that Jibankrishna’s photo hanging on the wall became living and was smiling, and the photo of that person was inside the chest of Jibankrishna. With a great surprise I looked at that scene and then my dream was off.

Vikash Saha resides at Paikpara, Kolkata and goes to listen to the reading of This man Jibankrishna's Bengali book ‘Dharma-O-Anubhuti (Religion and Realization) at Balai Das’ residence. After attending a few days he saw dreams which is given in his own version :
On 10.05.2005 I was taking rest at noon after taking my lunch. At one time I slept and in my dream I saw an open vast area and numerous people were engaged in their works. Different types of people were coming towards me. But strangely I was seeing Jibankrishna among them and at the next moment I was seeing one of them in the form of Jibankrishna. Thus I started seeing everybody in the form of Jibankrishna. I thought, perhaps I might be transformed into Jibankrishna’s form. Then and there I noticed that my face was transformed into Jibankrishna’s face, and my dream was off.

Mana Acharya is a young maid of Balai Das, a regular reader of This man Jibankrishna's(Diamond)Bengali book ‘Dharma-O-Anubhuti’.She often listens to the reading. One day she took a magazine on Diamond and after reading, within a few days had a few dreams. Here is a dream as she narrated :
On a Tuesday at noon I slept and dreamt that some boys were standing near the door of our house. I told them, ‘Why have you gathered here’? They said, ‘won’t you go? You have to go to day.’ I asked, ‘where shall I go’? Then my mother said, ‘They shouldn’t be driven out to-day’. Then addressing to the boys she said, ‘To-day all of you should come.’ I realized that those boys meant to say that to-day is Tuesday and I should go to listen to the reading. When I woke up, I realized that to-day was Tuesday and I was supposed to go to the reading center as per my mother’s instruction given to me in the previous dream.
[Through dream God teaches and guides the seer as was revealed in this dream.]
Mana Achariya narrated her dream as such:
I had gone to my own house after working at Balai Uncle’s house. It was than 1-30 PM. My mother was working hard saying, ‘Oh! I cann’t, now God should take me.’ I told my mother, ‘Mom, where should God take you. When time will come, God will take you.’ My mother told me, ‘How could you know all these talks?’ I said, ‘There is a photo of Jibankrishna(This man) at Balai uncle’s house. Do you know who is Jibankrishna? Krishna of Jiban (Life), this means in life there is Krishna or God.’ My mother said, ‘Oh! You have said the right thing. Jibankrishna’s book is read on every Tuesday. After your work you should go to listen on every Tuesday.’ Then my dream was off.
[Even at this young age, the girl is having a pure intellect and consciousness by the grace of God and this is the effect of listening to the reading of Jibankrishna’s book.]
Mana Acharya a young maid of Balai Das saw this manJibankrishna or Diamond in dreams as such:
I saw that a ceremonial occasion was going on at Balai uncle’s house. There was a large gathering. There was a playground and a temple in front of the house. Along with some friends I was having a Chit – Chat. There was no light on the road, but was illuminated by the light coming out of some houses. It was a mixture of darkness and light. Suddenly I saw an aged person was coming towards us having a talk with a young man. I saw Jibankrishna’s photo in Balai uncle’s residence. In my dream I was thinking that this man with a short hair-cutting and wearing dhoti, Punjabi might be Jibankrishna. Without saying anything to my friends I approached towards the temple,. When I went near the temple, I couldn’t see them. My dream was off.
Suman Dalal's (11yrs) dream:
One day in the last part of 2001 A.D, I saw in my dream an endless ocean with blue water.
the blue sky was visible with the luminous face of This man Diamond underneath.
The scene changed. This time a huge hill higher than Mount Everest was visible. From a far distant place sitting on the sea beach I was observing it. At this moment I saw that from the hill top Jibankrishna was calling me with a very louder voice, saying, ‘Oh, you come here! Coming here you will have no sorrow and troubles and you will get perpetual peace’! I approached and tried to climb up the hill top but failed. So he promptly held my hand and took me there. I saw many devotees there.
Jibankrishna told me, ‘you have become free from all prejudices. From to-day onwards you will get perpetual peace and you must stay with me. My companions also stay with me.’ From that day I used to stay there and enjoyed the companion of other devotees. Suddenly my dream was off.
Suman Dalal, a eight years old boy of Baranagar,Kolkata saw this man Diamond or Jibankrishna in a dream.He narrated thus:
1)On September 17, 1997, I saw in my dream that at 7 O’clock in the evening I was going to purchase some cereals. While I was returning after purchasing, the sky became very cloudy. It was lightening and I took a shelter under a banyan tree. At that moment I saw that Sri Ramkrishna Deva (in carnation of God) was coming from a distant place on my life side. He had bare upper body and wore a dhoti. When he came to me, I saw that his body was illuminating. Looking at my right side I saw that Jibankrishna was also coming. He had also bare upper body wearing a dhoti. Then and there the whole place was full of light. Without talking to me both of them took me my home putting me on their shoulders.
