We have heard it often enough: What is legal may also be morally wrong.
"How?" you may ask.
Governments make decisions as to who may kill other humans, animals and even destroy certain "dangers" in space and over time. That is legally-sanctioned destruction; but is it always right? The Ten Commandments were always with God and for people, from the time of creation - and the creation of Adam and Eve. When they loved ambition and knowledge more than God they broke the Commandment that says "Thou shalt have no other gods and idols before Me." When Cain killed Abel (his brother), the former son of Adam and Eve had violated the Commandment "Thou shalt not kill." And even today ... when we depend on Grace and Mercy, that God will grant us access to His Kingdom which cannot be earned by good works, the Ten Commandments are still what God expects us to adhere to. The fact we will fail, for example in having lusted in our minds, thoughts and hearts while being outwardly nd far from adulterers-in-deed, does not mean that God allows us to ignore the moral laws (such as purity, virginity, chastity, non-stealing etc.) He has given to the world. Political and human judgment that nations and peoples may do away with certain Biblical Commandments and regulations in our Era contributes to our states of misery, declining health and massive environmental problems. Shalom
