Directed by Richard Linklater and written by Richard Linklater and Eric Schlosser. This dramatic film was released November 17,2006. Go figure there tagline is "The Truth Is Hard To Swallow". No doubt. You'll understand once you have seen the movie.
To say the least I was expecting to have a night filled with laughter but instead was tramatized.
I love meat. I'm not too crazy about food without meat in it. But this may be a life changing experiencefor me. Now I just think of meat and I start to feel queasy . I hate feeling like this but it gets me to thinking, Hey what if the plot is Truth. In that case we as Americans need to wake up. BUYER BEWARE as they say.
I am getting ahead of myself. So to ensure you follow me, the most important info. to give you is the plot. This films plot is about examining health risks involved in the fast food industries and their environmental and social consequences.
A memorable quote to this movie title is "There's Shit In The Meat".-Jack Deavers. According to. - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460792/quotes This quote was meant quite literally. Not something you think about everyday? Well maybe we as the consumers buying the product should think about these things. Maybe it is the direct result to many of millions of health issues. Such as infections, sickness, we all know the heart attack. If you say No, not true. That just can't be. Think about it.
Our government spends billions of dollars for many reasons. For reasons of their choice. Maybe we need to start spending tax dollars on issues that concern our country. Issues that keep our nation of people in good health. Here's a strange and funny thought: What if that's where the zombies come in? Maybe we need to think about our bodies and how healthy we want to be. I'll say it's strange to hear myself say these things but I for one would like to die of natural causes rather than dying due to infected meat. And yet to think that my government is letting this slip by. It just tells me thank you, your tax donation is appreciated but who cares about you..Move along.
I am glad for the fact that my eyes are now opened and aware of this. I want to know the truth but can't say I was ready for that one. Huh, maybe it'll help me out with my dieting. :) But I am also angry to know that these things happen. Largely due to costs. (By hiring cheap help and running the machines to fast to ensure proper procedures are being followed). And at the risk of employees being mangled or severly injured.

All I can say is if you are not ready, That's fine. Wait until you are.
BUT....If you want to know, The truth is out there, Just rent the movie.
(Be prepared to feel ill).
