Thoughts of Halloween

Charlotte Kuchinsky
Little goblin the night
To whom will you give a fright?
Are you there to trick or treat
Or run up and down each street?

Are you friend or are you foe?
Where all do you plan to go?
Will you hide to give a scare?
Or merely beam a smile rare?

Princess, angel, knight and king;
Every sort of scary thing.
Beauty, beast, and monster too;
What will people think of you?

Only on a night like this
Full of fun and full of bliss
Is age no longer measured;
With childhood simply treasured.
