Thoughts on the Obama and McCain from a Non Political Person

Chloe Thorn
I have never followed politics, other than my own quiet opinions I have never really voiced what I believe of McCain or Obama because without the political background my opinion is only that an opinion. So I will put in my two cents here, just remember two things, again I don't follow politics so I could be wrong, and two I don't like any of our choices this go round for the presidential candidacy.

Obama as a whole I though would be great to begin with, I tend to be more democratic than I do republican, however I have always been more believe whatever feels right to you even it doesn't fall into the same party. Obama just comes off wrong to me, not for any political reason but more because he just seems not quite right. He comes off cold and over calm, not just sober but reserved in a forced way. Another concern that many people I know of worry about is could Obama be the Anti Christ? Now before you laugh like crazy think seriously if you know of the Bible and the information about the end of days and the Anti Christ. There are several similarities, however there are similarities between the Anti Christ and a few people I know. I have honestly compared some of the information from Revelations and the Obama campaign and the man as a whole, and it is intriguing. However again it does say in the Bible that we will not know who the Anti Christ is until much later, and so many people have questioned this that I just don't see this being the man.

McCain now comes off what I believe he is, a man who is way past his prime and has opinions I don't like. Plus do I really want to survive another 4 years if not 8 of what we have just dealt with during Bush's presidency? Absolutely no way! I don't believe all Republicans ruin the economy, I just don't want to test that theory right now when we are on such an economic precipice as it is. Now we could also look at McCain and say there is no way he will continue the route that Bush is on because so many people are already ticked and where we are with the war and money concerns, or we can say he will stay true to the Republican party and we will end up in a recession in no time, if not a depression even.

No matter what happens this will be a crazy year and ride with anyone who wins. Watching either new president try to drag us out of our current dilemmas will interesting, and something to keep an eye on even for a non political woman like myself.
