Thoughts on the Second Season of Celebrity Apprentice

The new season of Celebrity Apprentice got off to a good start last night with its two hour premier. Will it be better or worse than last season? That remains to be seen.

My personal opinion is that it probably won't be as good as last season. I hope I'm wrong. Maybe some of the business skills will surprise me. I don't think the celebrities are as well known as one would expect. Well, most people know Melissa and Joan Rivers, but I still wouldn't call them big name celebrities. Probably the most recognizable is Dennis Rodman. I'm not sure what kind of work ethic he will display, but it didn't look too good last night. Hopefully, Scott Hamilton and Clint Black will show to be good businessmen. Annie Duke might surprise us. I've personally never heard of her before, but my first impression is she knows how to play the game. Most surprising for me was Brande Roderick, the playboy playmate. I know you shouldn't stereotype people, but my impression of a playboy playmate is usually not going to be a smart person with a lot of business sense. She definitely made use of her contacts which got her off to a good start. And, Jesse James may surprise us. He definitely did a good job last night and if given the right tasks, he can probably do well.

I definitely think the first person fired was a good choice by Trump. I really don't see how Andrew Dice Clay could add any value to the show and he definitely didn't appear to want to contribute to the success of his team.

If nothing else, the show should be interesting. Hopefully, we won't be disappointed. I guess we'll have to watch to see. If you want to keep up, the next episode is on Sunday, March 8^th, at 8pm Central time.
