Dawn is breaking, but you would not know it
The clouds full of misty rain obscuring
Any trace that the night is at an end
Commuters tired of the constant jams
Leave home early to beat the rush
Yet on days like these, the same idea is shared
And so the day begins with yet another crawl
The office awaits, with lights and sounds
Voices of colleagues arriving one by one
A cup of tea or coffee, a water cooler chat
Last night's television, whose team lost or won
Then time to power on "the beast"
We do it like old hands
Just time to check our email
Before the buzzer sounds
It's time to start another day
To fix some problems new
One step forward, two steps back
Design changes coming through
Tomorrow though is Friday
The end of another week
With luck the weather will improve
It's blue skies that we seek
We're longing for the weekend
It's only two days long,
It takes so long to get there
You blink and then it's gone
My thoughts for a Thursday morning
Are these, I hope you like
If so, dear friend, a comment leave

You just write it out. Whatever your muse is whether it is in poetry (I like this one) or whether it is on any subject you want. Never let stats get in your way. From what I have read from you today thus far is really good.
Now go ahead and write a poem about page views and send me a note so I may read it. :)
Best of wishes writer and poet too!! Love it

Tony, I don't think you need inspiration. You are doing great!
The good thing about Thursday is that Friday is near:)
Sorry to hear you are out of work Pablina. That was me last year - 3 months out of work in Florida and 3 more in the UK. Fortunately I have a job now, but being unemployed does make you want to find a way to work for yourself, and I managed to get a lot more writing done. Hopefully one day I can earn enough to make it count. Wishing you luck getting a job.
Great poem, wish it mattered to me what day it was, but when you are unemployed, each day rolls into another. Great poem.
Thanks Joyce, I am pleased you enjoyed it.
Yes, tomorrow is Friday. TGIF! :-)
