Since then, nearly 2,000 people have thanked the president for defending the preborn. It's not too late to say "Thank you."
Bush's nominees to the Supreme Court will carry on his pro-family legacy.
"Chief Justice John Roberts and Samuel Alito respect the Constitution, will protect religious liberty (and) will protect the sanctity of human life," Mat Staver, president of Liberty Counsel, told Family News in Focus.
Douglas Johnson, legislative director for the National Right to Life Committee, said the Bush administration brought an era of unprecedented progress for family values.
"We've enacted more major pro-life legislation than ever," he said, "including the ban on partial-birth abortion, the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, the Born Alive Infants Protection Act and many others."
TAKE ACTION
Thank President Bush for defending the preborn.

Oh, absolutely, and a ditto out to Linda and Bud! This poor President has been unfairly verbally bashed and assaulted. God had a reason for him to be there for such a time, and I imagine that his faith in God has kept him going through this.
Although many may blame President George W. Bush for economic or political woes, history will likely show what does and does not belong where. many factors have come into play on each issue. As far as preborn rights are concerned, I agree that he is to be commended. I shudder to consider how we may have to apologize, as Americans, to all of those unborn children in Heaven someday. If we did little or nothing to protect them, then we share responsibility for their deaths.
I truly believe that, in time, history will view George W. Bush differently than the current trend.
