Threadless.com T-Shirts-An Awesome Opportunity for Aspiring Writers and Artists

Sick and tired of seeing those vintage inspired, overly mass produced t-shirts on young torsos across the world? YOU get to decide which designs get printed and which literally get sent back to the drawing board. And, not only are winning designs put on t-shirts, their artists are handsomely rewarded with a cool $1500 cash and a $300 Threadless gift certificate. Not an artist? No problem. Recently, Threadless introduced TypeTees, a similar concept, only members submit slogans instead of art. TypeTees gives aspiring writers a free chance to show off their wit and get their words out to the public, and hopefully on their clothes. Winning slogan writers receive $100 cash and a $100 gift certificate, not to mention the satisfaction of having your clever line written across strangers' chests. Original submissions are determined by the number of thumbs up, "I'd wear it!" verse thumbs down, "OMG, stupid!" ratings. Once high rated slogans are selected, a graphic artist works with an original font and layout to create a really neat final product. In order to submit work, you must register as a member with Threadless. This shouldn't be a problem, however, considering membership is free and you'll enjoy the perks that go along with it.
