I'll start with the traditional Irish Pub, Stout's, located at 125 E Grand River Rd., Brighton, MI. It can be the brightest of days, but as soon as you walk through the door the atmosphere becomes subtle and comforting, quaint, dim lit, the floors creak, the fireplace beckons to be lit, the decor sends you back a couple of centuries...that is until you notice the flat screen TVs lining the bar.
Stout has never served me a bad meal, ever. They have a diverse menu of Irish specialties, traditional American and a few Michigan specialties. The beer selection is good and can satisfy any palette or mood. The price ranges are moderate. With St. Patty's Day quickly approaching, Stout's will be gearing up for a downtown celebration like no other! They will be a hot spot. Check them out or give them a ring at 810.225.9571.
Now if you're looking for a formal settingn O'Callaghan's Irish Pub is a perfect place for celebrating St. Patty's Day, located at 9555 Village Place Blvd, Brighton, MI. What a fine Irish establishment this is from the authentic Irish food selection served in massive portions, to the beer selection, which is second to none, to actual Irish descendants complete with accents working the bar and in the kitchen. I have yet to leave O'Callaghan's without a to-go box.

And finally, if you're looking for a "Cheers"-like atmosphere, you can stroll in to Teebonez Tavern. Their walls are plastered with flat screens tuned into Michigan's finest sporting events! The food is good, the beer flows easily and the wallet is minimally impacted (quantity dependent). But, St. Patty's Day, watch out. The fest tent goes up, the kegs are rolled out, live music gears up and one of the best parties in town will happen complete with green beer!
If your curiosity is piqued, check them out at www.teebonez.com, in person at 4900 South Old Hwy 23, Brighton, MI or give me them a shout at 810.225.6050.
