Healthy Living Tip #1
Drink Water!
Drink water and drink lots of it! I say this with no hesitation and no remorse. Too many adults do not take into consideration their daily need for water. Water; it's so simple, plain, and pure, yet has such profound effects on our health. I am not suggesting drinking tap water, either, unless you leave in a remote and special part of the country where you feel safe drinking the tap water. I know that in the area where I live, officials claim the drinking water is safe, however, I would not advise you to believe everything everyone tells you. I personally have purchased the Zero Water filtration system. It's not too expensive and beats bottled water delivery, which can literally drain your pockets, especially if you have a large family like I do. I am in no way affiliated with this product. I'm just making an honest recommendation about something that I personally use. Check it out for yourself. Anyway, it is recommended that the average adult drink at minimum half their body weight in ounces of water per day. So, for example, if you weight 130 pounds, your daily water recommendation would be to drink at least 65 ounces of water. That's just about 4 average size bottles of water, not bad.
Healthy Living Tip #2
Walk!
This is another big one that most people just don't get. I know that when I was a kid I was always moving, whether I was walking to the local downtown shops or riding my bike. Once I passed my driving test, my walking days were over, until of course I began having children and needed a weight loss solution. Walking was the answer for me. There have been so many studies and reports on the positive benefits of walking for just 30 minutes per day. Walking can really do wonders for your overall health and life. Walking has been proved to kickstart your metabolism in high gear, so if you've always wondered, "How can I crank start my metabolism?" Then, walking is the answer for you. Like I said, all you need is a mere 30 minutes per day to reap the extraordinary benefits that walking can provide.
Healthy Living Tip #3
Eliminate Red Meat and Pork From Your Diet!
This is basically just a personal choice for me, but I also know for certainty that these two meats have no business being put into our bodies. Contrary to what you may have been taught to believe, they have no health benefits whatsoever. If you don't believe me, why not just try going without these two meats for a couple weeks and incorporate the previous two tips I have given you and tell me if you do not feel the difference in your whole body and mind. The old saying, "You are what you eat!" is so, so very true in this example. I don't know about you, but I certainly do not wish to be a pig or a cow! So get with the program and give it a try. You'll thank me later.
It is my hope that you will take these three healthy living tips into serious consideration. You only have one body that is truly indeed your temple, so why not nourish it and love it and take care of it in the way it was intended to be cared for. Only you can take care of you. Love the life you life and life the life you love is my final piece of advice to you; a free additional healthy living tip, if you will.
