Three of the Best Boston Nightclubs

R. Elizabeth C. Kitchen
Boston has a great night scene. Whether you like those romantic and cozy blues/jazz clubs or those hard hitting hip hop clubs, Boston can accommodate you. Here are some of the best clubs.

Aqua

120 Water Street

Boston, Massachusetts

(617)720-4900

Food & Drink

Aqua isn't only a high energy dance club, but they have great food as well. You can get food from 4pm until 10pm Tuesday-Saturday. They have little, square cafe style tables and chairs along the window to eat at. It's really nice because you can get a great view of what's nearby while you curb your hunger. If you are in the mood for traditional bar food be sure to stop by on Thursday's and Friday's from 5pm-7pm for the FREE mini sliders (yes I said FREE). During this time you can also get $3.00 beers to go along with those free mini sliders. You must also be sure to order an Aquatini. It is a beautiful blue concoction with a lemon twist.

Atmosphere & Music

When I was there I felt like I was under the sea and my friend described it as an "aqua ice cave". Either way the décor and overall atmosphere is both appealing and friendly. It is a great place for singles and was voted that by Stuff At Night magazine. When it comes to music Aqua has some of the hottest international DJ's spinning Tuesday-Saturday.

This is definitely the place to be especially if you are single or are just in the mood for a great night. They are open until 2am and for addition information Click Here

B-Side Lounge

92 Hampshire Street

Cambridge, Massachusetts 02139

(617)354-0766

For those like me out there that love Jazz, B-Side is a nice place to go. It is just outside of Boston in Cambridge. I would recommend a reservation especially for brunch and dinner. Lunch is offered Tuesday-Saturday from 11:30am until 4:00pm. Dinner is available seven nights a week from 5:30pm until midnight. Brunch is available on Saturdays from 11:30 am until 4:00pm and on Sundays from 11:00am until 4:00pm. They have your basic food and drinks along with some of the best jazz on the east coast.

Gypsy Bar

116 Boylston Street

Boston, Massachusetts 02116

(617)482-7799

Gypsy Bar in my opinion is the hottest nightclub in town. The atmosphere is casual and romantic and if you are lucky while enjoying the casually romantic atmosphere you may catch a celebrity in the bar. Gypsy Bar is 21 and over only, no exceptions. They are open Wednesday from 10am until 2pm and Thursday-Saturday from 5pm until 2am with dinner being served until 10pm. On Friday nights you can enjoy the sounds of DJ influence and on Saturday nights you can dance away to the sounds of DJ Niso. There is a dress code at Gypsy Bar and it consists of NO athletic wear, sleeveless tees, polo shirts, rugby shirts, sweats, hats, baggy clothes, tennis shoes or work uniforms. It is a club with class so dress with class. For more information Click Here

No matter which club you choose you are sure to have a great night. You may also choose to check out more than one to get a better feel for the Boston nightlife.
