Three Best Hair Salons in Indianapolis

Indianapolis is home to plenty of wonderful hair salons, but I've hand selected three of the best. Whenever I'm in need of a good haircut, color or massage I'll make an appointment at one of these three places. Each offers their own unique benefits, so listen up!

Getting your hair cut at Savvy Salon is like walking into a party (that happens to have a lot of mirrors and scissors)! This Salon is located right in the middle of Broad Ripple and is really easy to find. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and you're sure to feel comfortable once inside Savvy's walls. Katie J., the salon owner, has developed her own techniques for haircutting which she teaches to all the stylists. One of the best parts about a visit to this salon is the final finish they do to your hair. Savvy always styles your hair before you leave and teaches you how to style it yourself.

Snips is located on the east side of Indianapolis in Irvington, the historic district. It's a full-service salon meaning they offer hair cuts and beyond! It's definitely the east sides source for all things fabulous and you're sure to look mega-glamorous after your hair appointment! The staff is welcoming and hospitable and there is even a little shop attached called "Edibles" which offers organic and local produce/goods. Also, Snips won "Best Facial" in central Indiana. I recommend the Oxygen facial! According to the website, "The treatments work by infusing dull, tired skin with micro, or mycellized, vitamins at the cellular level. The concentration of highly concentrated, molecular oxygen and topical, mycellized vitamins increase cellular respiration and metabolism, lymph drainage that stimulates tissue detoxification, and reduce harmful bacteria in the skin."

This is one of those salons that you fall in love with. The staff is extremely friendly and kind-natured which makes for a great hair-cutting experience. I highly recommend coloring your hair at this salon if you're a first timer. Many of the stylists specialize in hair-coloring techniques and understand what looks best on your skin tone and face shape.
