Anthony Gonzalez has Peyton Manning, one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL to throw him the ball. Anthony Gonzalez is fast and a great route runner. Anthony Gonzalez had 57 receptions for 664 yards in the 2008 NFL season. Gonzalez wasn't even the starting receiver in 2008. Now that Marvin Harrison is no longer with the Indianapolis Colts, Anthony Gonzalez will see a lot more playing time as a starter. Marvin Harrison has been the go to receiver for the Colts in the past. Now Anthony Gonzalez will get those opportunities to shine. Look for Gonzalez to have big games against the St. Louis Rams and the Denver Broncos because of their lack of talent at the corner position.
Terrell Owens will have a break-out 2009 NFL season. Owens was traded to the Buffalo Bills to help Buffalo make the playoffs in the 2009 NFL season. Owens is one of the strongest receiver in the NFL. Terrell Owens has 951 receptions for 14,122 yards in his 14 year NFL career. That means that he is averaging 68 receptions and over 1,000 yards a season. Since Buffalo has one receiver that has broke 1,000 yards in the last two seasons, Terrell Owens will give them a superstar go to receiver for third downs. Terrell Owens is one of the best receivers in the NFL at blocking a cornerback or safety down field. His size and strength can over power almost all corners and safeties in the NFL. A great receiver helps the team anyway he can even if he does not have the ball.
The Cincinnati Bengals Chris Henry will break-out in the 2009 NFL season. He did not play the hole 2008 season because of injury and did not play the at all the season before because of suspension. The Cincinnati Bengals have Carson Palmer, one of the best quarterbacks in the AFC. With Chris Henry's speed and Carson Palmer's ability to throw the deep ball, look for them to hook up for a number of long passes for touchdowns. Henry also will get the change to start. He has to replace star receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh who had 292 receptions and 3,128 yards in three years. Now Chris Henry will get all those new opportunities, since he will be taken T.J. Houshmandzadeh stating position. Starting the game will help him get into a rhythm early. Once he gets going he is hard to stop.
