Last night I watched history being made. The GOP has finally woke up to the fact they were ignoring 55% of the registered voters. We won't talk about the influence that 55% has on the remaining 45% behind closed doors. The nomination of Sarah Palin has made history. Sarah's speech has moved a few folks to jump parties. (From both directions)
The most exciting review of Sarah's explosive commentary was on U-Tube. See it @ http://www.youtube.com/user/PaulFVillarreal A Democrat thinks he maybe converted to the GOP. I'll admit to being registered as a Republican. Anyone who knows me and my opinions will tell you I'm about as independent as they come. I even voted for that wife cheating Clinton.
Obama has made some interesting promises. I worry about who will pay for them. Obama wants more talk and less military action. Y'all know there was a reason Truman had to drop two atom bombs on Japan before they would have an honest conversation with the United States of America.
Every thinking man ans woman knows no one man is going to turn our economy around. The Congress and Senate can't do it alone. We have yet to attempt this feat with a woman in the decision seat. Perhaps the GOP in all of their wisdom has smelled the coffee and woke up to an opportunity that hasn't been tested. Sarah Palin will be the trial but I have an idea of the outcome.
I have read everything that is given to a woman is made into something great. A man gives a woman his sperm and she makes a baby. A woman sends her husband to war and she keeps not only his love alive but keeps the country moving ahead. (Think of all the "Rosie the Riveters" in WWII) Give a woman the job and tell her what needs done not how to do it. Then get out of the way and watch miracles happen. Have you ever thought of the blind, deaf child that became a world renown classical composer because his working mother loved him into a work ethic that no one else could imagine. Maybe it's time that us men realized how powerful these women are and follow their leadership.
Eleanor Roosevelt has inspired many women to take charge of their lives. Obama could use some educating about this. McCain certainly has read her books and used her wisdom in many perts of his life. I'm sure they influenced his decision in picking Sarah Palin. I know it's hard to believe that a Republican would take advise from a Democrat.
To wrap this up. Unless there is a major change in the situation between now and November McCain/Palin have my vote. Only because I think they will do the best job no mater what their sexual orientation or gender is.

Post a CommentThanks for this article. McCain * Palin 2008!!! :-)
Thanks for your positive outlook on this situation! I agree!
Congratulations! If you get heat from this, I will share your load! I just hope that John and Sarah meant most of what they have said. I said that they would never elect Bill Clinton (I am from Arkansas) because he was nothing but "white trash". They did. Twice. So much for what I know, but for now I will vote with you. Can't wait until Biden debates Palin! He had better be careful about how he says things or he just might bring out the pit bull!
I'm glad the Republicans decided to join the 21st century and nominate a woman as VP...24 years after the Democrats. Difficult to tell who is really going to win this election, although I think the Democrats have a better chance right now. Hopefully, in future Presidential elections, the American people will be the winners rather than the political parties. Our political system hasn't served us well during the past several years.

Be prepared to be lamblasted. Anyone who likes any aspect of Palin seems to be fair game. I keep forgetting that there is supposed to only be one side to any story - - the medias.
Excellent analysis. I agree with you 100%.
