Three Days After Maundy Thursday

Oster Haws Schokolade

Walton S. Tissot
Early morn wake
Search to find
At advent of spring
Little sweet bunny
By the basket
To savor and to keep

Or might then in lieu
That is instead
Break off his little brown head
To eat and eat, and eat
For belly ache
For troubled sleep

Easter morn
Wake early
Search to find
Bunny, basket
Treasures in kind
For Easter morn

Sure brought back memories. I, too, felt guilty biting off the bunny head!

Delightful. And I always bite of the little head and feel guilty.
