Personally, I love history so I would choose one of three. A medieval wedding, a western wedding or an Egyptian wedding. I think either and all would be very beautiful.
Western themed wedding:
If you are going with the western themed wedding then it is always a good idea to see about renting a horse unless you happen to have a horse. This will make the wedding seem much more authentic. Most people rent their dresses, however it is more commonly to see that people have their dresses made by fancy big designers. I could understand this if I was Angelina Jolie. But I'm regular people, so I'm on the poor side. So for me, I would have to settle for something a little more in my budget range.
Picture western boots, spurs and chaps as little centerpieces. What about beautiful waitress with huge dresses and feathers in their hair coming as your ushers. I would think you would want it to be as real as that time. Once you have been married then you can ride away in to the sunset with your new spouse on the horse.
Medieval themed wedding:
If you are a huge medieval fan like me, then you would love to get married out in the middle of nature or surrounded by a beautiful castle. I think that sounds fascinating. I would love to have a burgundy medieval styled dress with a long sheer veil. Picture a knight standing at the alter all dressed up in armor from head to toe. That would be a great wedding to be in or apart of. You can now purchase a cake that looks just like a castle. They are extremely beautiful. Don't forget your horse and carriage, or just your horse. I always thought it would be so beautiful to ride away sitting side saddle while my spouse holds me on top a beautiful white horse.
Ancient Egyptian themed wedding:
I think these are the best and one the most that is unheard of. I love ancient Egyptian stuff. To have wedding surrounded by it would be lovely. Picture Cleopatra and Anthony. They were a beautiful couple. You could even find some take home bags for your guest that are made like sarcophagus I think that would be really cool. What about a pyramid behind the altar where the priest would be standing. Sandstone seating for your guests and a beautiful pyramid cake to celebrate the start of your new life.
Does one of these weddings suit your taste? I know that thinking about them just in writing them. Hopefully this information has helped you think of new ways to make your wedding one to remember for a lifetime!
