Three Fantastic Gift Ideas for the Television Watchers on Your List

Rose Alexis
Chances are high that you have a person on your gift giving list this holiday season who really enjoys a particular television series or show, and these three gift ideas give you fantastic options for buying or creating the perfect present for them.

One: Seasons. You can purchase entire seasons of beloved television shows at a relatively low price. You can find them in stores or online. Blockbuster Video or any Super Store are great places to find these while shopping in person. Amazon.com is a great place to find them if shopping online. You can opt for new series, popular series, obscure series, or even old-time series (such as Happy Days, The Cosby Show, Jag, Friends, or Monk). These are great ideas for the person on your list you know enjoys a series. If you know the person would like an entire set, you can purchase every season that is available on DVD.

Two: Get Creative and Make a Theme: If you are in the mood to be creative, why not make a themed gift for your recipient. For example, if the person on your list is a zealous Iron Chef fan, consider purchasing a gift certificate to a restaurant manned by one of the show's participants, along with a cookbook the person has produced as well. Or you can obtain tickets to a show the person loves and put them in their stocking. This can be done for any type of television show that has a public section while airing...game shows, talk shows, sitcoms, or late night shows. If you are wanting to purchase a trip for the person, buy airplane tickets and a hotel that go along with the date of the show. Throw in a t-shirt with the show name on it, and you have a theme. Of course these are just ideas and this gift allows you to be as innovative and elaborate as your heart desires and your pocketbook or wallet allows.

Three: Variety Baskets. The third idea is to make a gift basket up that has a variety of items from the television show your recipient likes. You can put in coasters, calendars, beach towels, bath towels, clothing, notebooks, coffee cups, etc. If the gift is for a child, you are really in luck because finding items to fill a basket from a children's show is more than easy (Hannah Montana, Sponge Bob Squarepants, etc.). If the gift is for a show that is not currently running or is harder to find, you may want to search the Internet for reputable sellers. If the television show is really obscure, you may want to shop on e-bay, just remember to be cognizant of the seller feedback rating and delivery times.

These three ideas are unique and sure to please the television watcher on your gift giving list.
