Valenzano Winery
Shamong, NJ (New Jersey Pine Barrens)
Enjoy their Winefest celebration in September as well as their wine tastings from their local vineyards. They also host special events such as weddings. Valenzano can also personalize and customize wine for you or for gifts. Family operated and owned, Valenzano Winery distributes to many local restaurants. Check their website for a list.
Sharrott Winery
Blue Anchor, NJ
This winery has won awards around the country for their wine(s), they host private events, and host fun publc events such as Girls Night Out or having live music. Their website also has a list of which wines of theirs has been distributed locally.
Cedarvale Winery
Logan Township, NJ
Owned by a lovely couple, the Gaventa's, the winery boats some lovely furit wines as well as the traditionals: Merlot, Chardonnay etc..Visit to sample wines, take a tour, chat with their wine-maker or attend or host a private event. You can find their wine offered at many of the local wine festivals.

Post a CommentI just told someone else that one of the most memorable weddings we ever attended was at the most historic winery in the Hudson Valley. cheers (sadly, it burned down last year!)

These places are not under water at this time, but thanks for putting it out there...
One piece of advice for readers--if you plan on visiting any wineries NY, NJ, VT or CT please call a head of time and make sure they aren't under water. Other than that-I didn't know Jersey had wineries. I feel cool now that I am in the know! Kudos!
