1) Webcams are all over the place. Consider that you can see just about any famous place in the world by using a webcam that will be placed close by it for those would like to view it - it is super easy to search for these by using any popular search engine. My favorite is "Blingo" [CLICK] an offshoot of the "Google" family- (Photo 1); where a search under "Eiffel tower Cam" netted me the image you see in photo 2, take a look. So you can enter just about any popular place during the holidays and see what's going on there on the webcam they provide for this purpose. Mark and Helen sure enjoy using theirs. (Uh...obviously Mark and Helen are my wife and I hey its third person here...)
2. You can use non-copyrighted pictures and images to send to your friends as part of a holiday message - you guessed it - right off the e-mail. This year Mark and Helen discovered that it was about thirty dollars less expensive to work out a nice holiday message for folks and email it to them. They enjoyed the fact that they could put images and even put music and voice content into their card using any number of inexpensive and easy to use programs from Power Point which comes with some Microsoft based systems to other commercially available software's such as "Swish" [CLICK].
3. Imagine your wonderful digital image passed on to a viewing project listed in Power Point or another type of software like "Swish" and then viewed off a DVD that you burn and put music on, right there on the T.V. set? Mark and Helen found they could pass the peace of the morning on into the day by making images and putting nice music that they liked behind them as they played on the T.V. The same can also be easily achieved with first rate movie cameras which make digital transfer a matter of a click, and in some cases, not even having to do that, as they burn the images onto a DVD or CD right on the camera itself.
Mark and Helen realized how much this increased their joy and they also realized that in the clamor and quickness of the holidays, it is easy to forget simple to use technology and how it can make the season so much more memorable in later years. These three simple ideas can really add to the quality of your holiday experience, try these three and see for yourself how easy and enjoyable these three are.
