In Springfield, PA, we have several local coffee shops. We have the small mom and pop stores, to the major chains like Starbucks. I'll be reviewing my three favorite places to get a great cup of coffee around Springfield.

If you don't mind a big chain, you'll love the Starbucks located at: 1100 Baltimore Pike Springfield, PA 19064. Their phone number is: 610-544-9545. The Baristas are quick, friendly and experts at making whatever drinks you desire. The store is comfortable with a counter and stools, plush arm chairs and tables to work at with your laptop. They offer delicious baked goods, products you can purchase to prepare at home and offer great service. It's a big chain, but with the friendly staff, I enjoy going there. They have a decent sized parking lot and it is always easy to get a spot. Their prices are moderate - not super expensive, but not cheap. Another perk is that they are a wireless hot spot, so bring your PC!

For a nice cup of coffee or a basic cup of tea, consider Brookside Bagels. They are located at: North Brookside Road in Springfield, Pennsylvania 19064. Their phone number is: (610) 544-3435. They even have a fax number to fax your orders to, it is: (610) 544-3436. Their hours are: T-F 6 am - 3 pm, Sat. 7 am - 2 pm and Sun. 7 am - 1 pm. It is a tiny store with no places to sit, but the bagels, lunch specials and coffee is excellent! Have I mentioned how wonderful and perfect the bagels are? It's the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee and a bagel on the way to catch the trolley. I really enjoy getting a coffee or tea and being able to enjoy a nice lunch or breakfast with it. If you are looking for that, this is your place! They have a website here: http://brooksidebagelsinc.com/

I also really like Seattle's Best Coffee located at: Borders Book Store, Springfield Square Shopping Center Springfield, PA 19064. The store hours are: Monday - Thursday09:00 am to 10:00 pm, Friday - Saturday09:00 am to 11:00 pm, and Sunday10:00 am to 09:00 pm. I love this coffee place because you can enjoy a tea or coffee beverage and look at magazines and books in Borders. It makes for a really relaxing morning or a Friday night out. They also offer small sandwiches and pasty in their food case. They offer tables for you to sit at.

I hope you check out one of my three favorite coffee places and enjoy a great cup of coffee!
