A Few New Ideas for Tomorrow Night's Supper

Crock Pot Lamb Shoulder

1 teaspoon olive oil

3 lbs lamb shoulder

3 large garlic cloves

4 oz bacon, chopped

1 medium onion, chopped

3 carrots, chopped

½ red cooking wine

1 cup vegetable broth

14 oz can tomatoes, chopped

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

14 oz can canellini beans, drained

4 baked potatoes, chopped

Cut the garlic cloves into quarters and put them on the lamb. Put juices in the crock pot, then beans. Follow it with lamb and seasonings.

Cook about 8-10 hours on medium. Serves 6 people.

Chicken & Potatoes

3 potatoes, chopped

1 large green pepper, cut into strips

1 onion, chopped

15 oz can tomato sauce

½ cup dry wine

½ pimento olives

½ teaspoon garlic

½ teaspoon olive oil

6 chicken drumsticks

1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Put all ingredients in crock pot except chicken and mix well. Then put in chicken stir and coat. Cook about 8 hours on low.

Chunky Potato and Beef Stew

1 ½ beef stew

4 potatoes, chopped in quarters

1 carrot, diced

2 celery stalks, diced

2 leeks, diced

4 cups beef stock

Baby corn cobs

2 tablespoons cooking sherry

Salt and pepper to taste

Mix it all together well in crock pot and cook on low about 8 hours or so.
