Three Great No-Wash Hairstyles

Amy Stepp
Have you ever woke up in the morning and hit the snooze button too many times to where you are now running so late that you can't even squeeze in a shower? I know I have, and trying to create a good hairstyle without washing your hair can make you get even more frustrated then you already are. I have three great hairstyles that require no washing at all! So the next time you have overslept, try one of these cute hairstyles when you are in a rush!

No-Wash Hairstyle One:
Ponytail

This one is as simple as it comes. If you have medium length hair to long hair then you will have no problem creating this look. However, spice it up a bit. Take your bang section and separate it from the rest of your hair. Pull it to the side of your head and put a clip in it to hold in in place. Now starting from the front of your head brush backwards gathering all your hair into your hand and then put a rubber band, ponytail holder in it. Make sure the ponytail is at the top of the back of your head for added height. Spray some hairspray of your choice to keep it in place.

No-Wash Hairstyle Two:
The Flip

No matter what length your hair is, this style can be achieved by all. First, I spray some hairspray on my hair. Not to much, just a fine mist. I then section half of my hair from the top to mid head and pull into a bun and place it on top of my head. I then take a curling iron and section by section (at least 2 inches wide of hair) I go the opposite way of curling m hair and make the bottom of my hair flip out. I do this all around my head and then undo the bun on top of my head and repeat the procedure with the rest of my hair. I then take a fine tooth comb and comb my hair down so it looks smooth around my head and the bottom pieces of hair are feathered and flipping out. I then start at the temples of my eyes where my hair is and pull up my bangs and place all that hair half way back onto the top of my head with a neat hair clip. I then spray a little hairspray again to lock in the look. After you have created the look it will look like a 50's hairstyle!

No-Wash Hairstyle Three:
Extreme Curl

If you have long hair this may be kind of hard, this hairstyle works better with medium length to short length hair style. First spray hairspray all over your head so the curl will hold better. Then section your hair off into 4 inch sections. Now with the section you first choose to work with, take one to two inches of hair and wrap it around a 1/2 inch curling iron in a spiral way. Hold the hair onto the curling iron to the count of at least 15 seconds and then pull out the curling iron without unraveling the hair. You will create a Shirley Temple ringlet. Do this with all the hair strands until you have curled every inch of your hair. Either you can pull it half way up with a butterfly clip or you can put a headband on to pull the hair out of your face.

The only products you will need for all these three styles is your choice of hairspray. No fancy hairspray needed, whatever kind you work with now. A curling iron for styles two and three and either ponytail holders, hair clips and a hairbrush! Have fun with them however, try one of these styles when you have a little extra time, like on a weekend so you can get the routine of it down pat before you have to try it when you are in a rush!
