Three Great Places to Get the Best Burger in Tucson, Arizona

These Are Probably the Best Places to Get a Good, Juicy and Delicious Burger in Tucson Arizona

John Savage
Do you live in Tucson? Just visiting? Looking for a great place to get a Burger? Then you have come to the right place! Tucson, Arizona has a great ratio of wonderful restaurants per capita, and a good burger is not hard to find. I actually had some trouble narrowing it down to three, however here are the results.

Monkey Burger:

Monkey Burger is well known to the locals here in Tucson. Located in the Williams Center, on the southwest corner of Broadway and Craycroft, Monkey Burger is one place you have got to try. Open from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 11:00am to 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11:00am to 5:00pm an Sunday; you can enjoy a delicious Monkey Burger for lunch, dinner or a late night snack. They use Angus beef for the most flavorful burger patty available, as well as they have some unusual side dishes, such as fried pickles and roasted corn on the cob. Monkey Burger is also known for the many delicious and unusual toppings they have available. The buns are fresh made daily at our local Viro's Bakery. If you want to have a delicious and reasonably priced gourmet burger in a relaxed atmosphere here in Tucson, then Monkey Burger should be your first stop.

Zinburger:

If you have some money to spend and you are looking for an upper class place to take your honey, or relatives, then Zinburger should be the place for you. This somewhat high priced burger joint is locate at 1865 E. River road in Tucson's north east side. If you're from here then you know that this place is located where the beautiful people are. This is a high class place with excellent burgers however they also offer many salads and other choices to make sure everyone in your group is happy and satisfied. Zinburger also has a very comprehensive wine selection and great milk shakes, for those of you who don't want to have beer with your burger. They are open from 11:00 am to 10:30pm Sunday through Thursday, and from 11:00am to 11:00pm on Friday and Saturday, so it is a great place to visit after happy hour. Again, the atmosphere is a bit upper-crust so you may want to dress business casual, but it will impress your friends and family because it is probably the classiest place in Tucson to buy a burger.

Bumsted's:

Now here is a wonderful, and my personal favorite place, to get the best burger in Tucson. Located at 500 N. on historic Fourth Avenue, Bumsted's is a must try. Their hours are Monday through Wednesday 11:00am to 10:00pm, Thursday through Saturday 11:00 am to 2:00am, and Sunday from 12:00pm to 10:00pm. This is a great place to go for a wonderfully huge burger at low prices, usually under $9.00. It has a relaxed atmosphere, like everything on Fourth Avenue, and a wonderful selection of options. It is also a great place to take the kids, unlike Zinburger where you may get some strange looks if your children aren't perfectly behaved. They also have a great selection of sides, toppings and salads and a full bar, so everyone in your group is happy. This is one place where you will not leave hungry, if you're really hungry, I would recommend Bumsted's famous Dagwood burger, and this one is built to satisfy. So pack up your family and head to Bumstead's, I promise that you will not be disappointed.
