Seashell Encrusted Picture Frame

You will need:

Inexpensive wooden picture frame

Collection of pretty small seashells

Glue Gun

Purchase an inexpensive wooden picture frame. Use a glue gun to cover the surface of the front of the picture frame with seashells. This project also works well with other small pretty decorations including buttons, sequins, beads, etc. Allow the picture frame to dry thoroughly before placing a photo or artwork inside. The seashell picture frame also makes a nice gift on its own. That way your teen can decide what to put inside the picture frame.

CD Case Dual Picture Frame

You will need:

Old Plastic CD Cover

Cardboard

Photographs of family, friends, pets, etc.

Stickers, colored paper, glitter and other decorations

Craft Glue

This is a cute and fun idea for a homemade teens Christmas gift. It also is a great way to recycle old CD covers. Get an old CD cover that you don't want anymore. Cut two squares in the CD paper insert to create two paper frames which appear on the front and back of the CD cover. If your CD cover doesn't have a paper insert, you can make a paper frame from cardboard paper. Then, decorate the edges of the frames with stickers, glitter, paint, etc. Finally. insert photos into the paper frames. Some ideas are photos of your teens' friends, a favorite pet, a family portrait, etc. Insert your paper frame and photo back into the CD cover. To display, set the CD cover on its side so that the pictures show. Another idea is to forgo the picture frame and instead create a photo collage. This is easily accomplished by downsizing and printing photos on your computer. Then glue bunches of photos on a piece of cardboard to create a collage. Display inside the CD cover.

Decorated Trinket or Jewelery Box

You will need: papier mache trinket box

Glue Gun

Decorations: sequins, seashells, buttons, beads, photographs, etc.
