House Cleaning Task for Bedroom:
Begin your daily house cleaning routine by making your bed. The bed is largest piece of furniture in the house. If you make your bed first thing in the morning, you will have a place of peace to lay your head down in the evening. If you have not done so in a while, start by putting on fresh sheets and making your bed from scratch. The next morning when you get up, take thirty seconds to spread the covers back and you have begun your house cleaning goal.
House Cleaning Task for Kitchen:
A good house cleaning task to make into a habit is to run a sink full of hot soapy water while you are waiting for your coffee to brew. There are so many people coming and going during the day and evening, it is hard to get all of the dishes done before you go to bed. So, put the collected dishes in the hot water to soak while you drink your first morning beverage of the day. When you finish your coffee, wash up the dishes and wipe down your counters, including your used coffee cup. By doing this in the morning, the kitchen will be a more welcoming place to come home to. You will find yourself in a better frame of mind to come home and cook supper than if you come home to a messy kitchen.
House Cleaning Task for Health:
The third house cleaning task to do every morning is to deal with the garbage. Make a quick trip around your house and empty all of your trash cans. Most homes have a large can that is used for weekly pickups. Otherwise, have a designated place to put your trash until it is time to make a weekly trash run. Gathering your trash daily will help you in your house cleaning goals. Even if you take the few moments to grab the trash from just a small area, that will be less clutter to deal with. Be sure to deal with your trash in a timely manner. Letting it pile up can create a health and fire hazard.
These three house cleaning tasks may not seem like much. They are the cornerstone to creating a welcoming home for you to continue your house cleaning goals. The three tasks take less than 15 minutes of your morning once you have set them up. If you are a stay at home throughout the day, you will have time to work on other house cleaning tasks. Be sure to set up house cleaning goals, even if you work out side of the home. These goals, tasks and schedules can help you to organize your home and help you to put your house cleaning on autopilot rather than scrambling because someone is coming over.
