Three Infectious Viral Videos for Your Viewing Pleasure

Dictionary.com defines viral as "of, pertaining to, or caused by a virus." When used in relation to internet video sites such as YouTube or FunnyOrDie, the term is connected to how well received a video is. If the video is immensely popular, it is coined as "viral," but perhaps, a better term would have been "infectious" considering how it is used to describe the spread of the video across the internet.

Regardless, if wasted time could be attributed to one single cause throughout the world, more employers, teachers, and parents would point their fingers at the spread of viral videos. At the same time though, we all have our favorites, those ones that just seem to blow through the office and get linked incessantly on Facebook.

Here are a few that have caught my attention over the last several weeks:

Alpha Kenny Body

This video is great, if for nothing more than the torment this kid is putting his father through. The poor guy obviously speaks English as a second language, and as any child should do, his son exploits it for the good of YouTube. The father knows he's being railed on, but it takes him a good two minutes into the video for him to fully grasp just what his kid is doing to him. Needless to say, this will likely inspire countless folks finding someone gullible to take the challenge in the offices and school hallways of the world.

Most Wasted Guy at Coachella vs. Flip Flop

Of all the videos that are sent on a weekly basis, I have never been linked so often to one individual video as much as I have this one. Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival is a three day festival held in Indio, California every year. As with any music festival, you're going to have a few patrons who have a bit too much to drink and what not. This poor guy is obviously well beyond his limit and proceeds to spend the two minutes of the video trying to find away to keep himself upright but still manage to get his sandal back on his foot. Lucky for him, there was someone there that was willing to tape it all for their enjoyment, and now countless others. Pay special attention to the moment when he stumbles into a group of young girls and pulls his, "how you doin" act.

Wrong Hole

Before you follow the link to this one, be sure of two things. One, the title implies just about all you need to know about the video. Two, as such, it is probably best to not have your children present during screening. The language is clean, but obviously, the topic is a bit taboo. Anyway, this is a music video, written and performed by a gentleman who is obviously overachieving in the ladies department and squanders his opportunity after making a small mistake. He proceeds to lament about the situation and try to woo the girl back. The song is flawless and the video has some fairly decent production quality to it. It is extremely funny though, and well worth circulating among your more open-minded friends.
