Three Men and a Baby Sequel Confirmed by Two of Its Stars

Three Men and a Baby and its sequel, Three Men and a Little Lady, have long resonated in the hearts of comedic film fans. Tom Selleck, Ted Danson and Steve Guttenburg were three of the biggest leading men of the 1980s, and Three Men and a Baby, an emotionally weighted, richly comedic movie, was one of the greatest blockbuster hits of the decade. It romanticized the joys of fatherhood, while mocking its drawbacks, such as pesky diaper changes and responsibilities. There have been rumors of a sequel for years. Well, fans can now cheer. Tom Selleck and Steven Guttenburg confirmed that a sequel will come to fruition.

Steve Guttenburg first revealed to WENN that a sequel was confirmed. He stated, "Nobody knows about it. I'm the first to talk about it."Tom Selleck confirmed this summer to "Entertainment Weekly" that, yes, he is committed to doing a sequel and hope it works out, as he would love to work with former co-stars Danson and Guttenburg once again.

The movie is confirmed in pre-production on IMDB, and a script is in the works. However, none of the cast have read a confirmed final version of the screenplay, and the movie itself is in the early stages of pre-production. That doesn't make its stars any less committed and enthused about the project.

Recently, Wall Street, another legendary 80s movie, has gotten a sequel that seems poised for sure success; the same magic can be captured again. With the original three men and a great script, the third could be the best film yet in what would then be a comedic trilogy.
