They are open every day Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The prices for adoption range from $75.00 to $150.00 depending on such things as how long the animal has been at the shelter and the age of the animal. The adoption fee includes the spaying or neutering which is done by a staff veterinarian before the animal leaves the center. There are no exceptions on the spay or neuter, this has to be done before the animal can be adopted. All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Microchips can be implanted in cats upon request. As of the day this article was written, there were 30 cats awaiting adoption. Give them a call, go visit them, or check them out on their website to find the perfect cat for you. The next one is Adopt a Pet.com which is a rescue organization and is base out of Central Veterinary Hospital in Knoxville Tennessee. If you are approved the fee is $40.00 and to spay or neuter an appointment must be set. You can visit them at the hospital or online www.centralvethospital.com to see the adoptable animals.
