Originally called the Seward Hotel opening it's doors in 1909 and the Governor is known as the last of America's "handmade" buildings. Room rates can be high depending on time of year and occupancy. Dinner with the graduate can take place at Jake's Grill right at the Governor Hotel an every guest can enjoy dishes of steak and seafood before their evening of fun and enjoyment. Banquet rooms are available if the group is larger than a normal restaurant table can accommodate. It is best to call or contact the Governor's Hotel early before your event to make arrangements. Room rates are approximately $159.00 to $229.00 per night and guests can enjoy some special treatment with the choice of a Jakes rill Breakfast or Chocolate Strawberries and fresh cookies in the room (for an added cost).
