Fuel Up for Pasta Month in September

In honor of pasta month, Dine, a chic 1940's style eatery in downtown Chicago, will be featuring their famous mouthwatering macaroni and cheese all month long. As a classic at the home-style restaurant, it is featured on both the lunch and dinner menu for $8. This special will not only recognize pasta month but will also serve as the perfect pre-race meal for this year's LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon. Whether stopping by to indulge in a classic American pasta dish or to fill up on energy the night before the big race, Dine's macaroni and cheese is sure to satisfy.

Birch River Grill Ladies Night

Looking for a night out with the girls? Birch River Grill will host Ladies Night on Monday, September 27 from 5 pm to 8 pm. Come and enjoy one complimentary signature cocktail as well as complimentary hours d' oeuvres while you browse all the latest fashion and beauty products from area vendor's including: Denise Spence with Lia Sophia Jewelry, Laura Buhle-Smith with Party Lite Candles, Deb Chenault with Tupperware, Mary Hanson with Mary Kay, Elizabeth Anthony with Weekenders Clothing and Wendi Wanner with Tapestry Design Studio. Executive chef, John Ayaleanos will do a demo on how to make party appetizers. Throughout the entire night, female friendly drink specials will be available in the lounge.

Enjoy a Southern Classic, Chicken & Waffles

To honor both chicken and waffle month during the month of September, Birch River Grill will feature the popular dish, Chicken & Waffles. Two pieces of roasted chicken are placed on top of a fresh baked waffle. The dish is served with a side of macaroni and cheese, along with a side of country gravy and maple syrup so the diner can decide what they prefer. The meal includes a small side salad. Priced at $12.95, this feature item will only last through the month of September.
